The Benefits of Vitamin C

Most people may already be familiar with all the benefits vitamin C has on our health and wellbeing. When it comes to skincare, vitamin C is known for its anti-ageing properties that can reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. It can also help to boost the production of collagen, an essential protein that helps restore skin elasticity.

One of the most important vitamin C benefits is that it’s an antioxidant that can target and fix damages caused by free radicals from UV exposure. Too much exposure to UV without the proper protection can cause hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, and brown spots or sun spots. Vitamin C antioxidant properties can help eliminate these problems while restoring your skin’s radiance.

Oxygen-C

Infused with Australian Native Kakadu Plum our Oxygen-C range is gentle and suitable for all skin types. Our affordable Vitamin C skincare range is available online and in Priceline stores across Australia. These products are meticulously formulated so you can get all the benefits of vitamin C to the fullest.

One of our top best-selling products is the Oxygen-C Vitamin C Brightening Serum. Formulated with two sources of vitamin C and Niacinamide, it can help target dullness, uneven skin tone, blemishes, enlarged pores, and other pesky aging signs. With the Australian lime caviar extract and Essential Mineral Blend, it also provides gentle exfoliation to keep the skin smooth and make your skin glow.

It’s highly recommended that you use sunscreen regularly if you have vitamin C skincare in your skincare regimen so the vitamin C can be more effective in combating free radicals. Pair our Vitamin C Brightening Serum with the Oxygen-C Brightening Daily Moisturiser with SPF15.

This moisturiser contains antioxidant-rich ingredients like Organic Sunflower sprouts and Tara Fruit pods to protect your skin from free radicals. The Natural Biopolymer creates a barrier to shield the skin from pollution while the Native Australian Kakadu Plum Extract revives dull skin and improves skin texture. On top of that, this Skin Physics moisturiser offers 72-hour hydration and is suitable for all skin types.

Assisting your skin concerns is as easy as using the right serums for your skin type. Our affordable yet powerful face serums that can be easily paired with your existing skin care routine and are easy to use!

Best Face Serums for Dry Skin

When it comes to combating dry skin, try adding a serum that hydrates into your skincare routine with hyaluronic acid and polyglumentic acid.  If you have dry skin, choose serums that can help retain moisture throughout the day like our Polyglutamic+ Intensive Hydration Serum. This advanced hydrating formula retains and locks in moisture for soft, plump & dewy skin.

The Skin Physics Polyglutamic+ Intensive Hydration Serum helps with dehydration, dullness, unever texture, as well as fine lines and wrinkles. The serum uses polyglutamic acid to help retain the skin’s moisture levels and Encapsulated Hyaluronic Acid to strengthen the skin’s barrier. With these two ingredients combined, it creates maximum hydration as they are most effective when working together.

Best Face Serums for Acne-Prone and Blemished Skin

If you tend to break out and get a lot of acne, you may need a serum for oily skin and acne prone skin. Acne can be the result of clogged and inflamed pores and when you have oily skin, the excess sebum can result in unwanted spots, either in specific areas or throughout your face.

To combat these concerns, Salicylic Acid+ Blemish Control Serum is a great serum to add into your regimen. This face serum contains Salicylic Acid, Witch Hazel, Niacinamide, and Australian Lemon Myrtle Extract to help combat excess sebum, congested or enlarged pores, redness, blemishes, and breakouts. It also helps with minimising redness and inflammation and preventing future breakouts.

Best Anti-Aging Serums for Dark Spots and Wrinkles

Combating aging signs might be one of the most popular skin concerns among both men and women. As we age, our skin elasticity diminishes and production of collagen, the element responsible for renewing our skin cells, decreases as well. Luckily for you, there are a myriad of the best anti-aging serums for dark spots and wrinkles right here at Skin Physics.

To help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, try using our Dragon’s Blood Retinol Sleep Serum before bed. This serum utilizes Granactive Retinoid, Retinol, Hyaluronic Acid Dragon’s Blood, and Bisabolol to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation, and age spots while evening out skin tone and improves skin texture.

Other anti-aging serums you can add into you skin care regimen are Copper Peptides+ Advanced Age Defence Serum and Advance Superlift Lifting & Firming Complex. These anti-aging serums can ultimately decrease the appearance of aging signs, restoring youthfulness and radiance to your skin.

Skin Physics Face Masks Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat is a sheet mask?

A face sheet mask is exactly what its namesake offers - a sheet soaked with serums / vitamincs that you can easily put on your face and relax. You can use our face sheet masks as part of your everyday skincare regimen or as a little self-care treatment on days when you feel like your skin needs that extra boost. Compared to normal gel masks, face sheet masks are more convenient as they do not require rinsing after use. They are also a great travel companion as they don’t need much room and can be applied even when you’re on the go.

Do you have to wash your face before you use a sheet mask?

It is important to have a completely clean face before using a face sheet mask. This is because you want your skin to completely absorb the serum and nutrients on the sheet mask. When you have excess oil, dirt, or makeup on your face, the serum will not be able to work its magic compared to if you have a clean face. If you have makeup on, thoroughly remove the cosmetics with a cleansing balm or micellar water and do a round of facial cleanse before applying the face mask. After your sheet mask, you can apply your regular skincare routine starting from the toner.
